The newspaper Expansión launches the fifth edition of the Expansión StartUp Awards in collaboration with Abertis, CaixaBank “Day One”, Cellnex, BHV Partners and Deusto Emprende. These awards have become a benchmark in the entrepreneurial ecosystem to recognise and promote the best emerging companies in Spain.
The deadline for submitting applications will be open 31 October and will cover six categories:
- Health and biotechnology
- Mobility
- Environment and energy
- Fintech
- Food and agrotech
- Telecommunications and industry 4.0
This year’s jury is made up of renowned experts from the entrepreneurial ecosystem, such as Garbiñe Henry, Director of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Deusto Emprende; Marta Nogueras, CEO at Lanzadera; Miguel Vicente, President of Tech Barcelona; José Antonio Aranda, Product Strategy and Innovation Director at Cellnex; Antonio Durán, Global Innovation Head at Abertis; Marta Príncep, CEO and Co-Founder of BHV Partners, as a venture builder specialising in healthcare, and Patricia Casado, CEO at BerriUp.
The award ceremony will be held on 13 December at the Antigua Fábrica Damm in Barcelona.
