Biography
Carlos joined BHV Partners as Partner & Senior Consultant in January 2020.
With more than 20 years experience as an entrepreneur, CEO and in business development in companies and start-ups in the chemical and healthcare sector.
He began his professional career as a process engineer in the chemical industry in Colombia, where he took part in development teams for new projects and products, getting involved in the initial idea, production and marketing processes.
In 2010, he founded iMiCROQ, a spin-off of the Universitat Rovira i Virgili, to develop a rapid detection kit for salmonella. For 10 years, he led the company and its business and commercial development strategy
In 2020, he co-founded The Sampling Solutions (TSS), where he is head of Business Development. TSS is a digital outsourcing company for on-site sample and measurement services.
