Biography
Gemma joined BHV Partners as Head of Communications in September 2022.
She is a communications consultant specialising in healthcare. For over 25 years, she has collaborated with research institutions, the pharmaceutical industry and start-ups on strategic communications plans, corporate identity, content creation and web development.
Between 2014 and 2021, she was Head of Communications at the CataloniaBio & HealthTech business association, where she defined the strategy and created the communications department with the board. She was previously the Head of Digital Communications at Biocat, Communications Manager at Benito and writer at Prensa Ibérica.
She is currently associate professor at the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya (UIC) and member of the Spanish Association of Health Reporters (ANIS) and the Spanish Association of Biotechnology Communicators.
Parallel to his profession, she collaborates with animal associations in Spain as a defender of one health and animal rights (#AdoptDontShopt #DontAbandon).
