Biography
Joaquín is CEO & Co-Founder of Viva In Vitro Diagnostics and chairman of the Bioindustry Association of the Region of Murcia (Abiomur).
From 2020 to 2022, he was Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Newmanbrain. Previously, he was a Voting Trustee at Zyxogen and CEO of Ingeniatrics Tecnologías.
He is an experienced CEO and board director in the biomedical ecosystem, specialised in mergers and acquisitions, as well as in the incorporation, venture capital funding and launching of spin-offs. He has closed joint development and marketing agreements on four continents and is considered an expert in open innovation.
He advises corporates and governmental bodies on the valuation of novel technologies, and has been coordinating committees of experts, mainly in biotechnology and biomedical technologies, for more than two decades.
His last works are related to fields such as diagnostics devices, CAR-T cell therapies, nanosensors, national industry development, AI-based systems and nanotech for drug delivery.
