Biography
Professor of Medicine at the University of Barcelona, director of the Paediatric Arrhythmia Unit at Sant Joan de Déu Barcelona Children’s Hospital in Barcelona, senior consultant at Hospital Clínic in Barcelona and president of the Brugada Foundation.
He was chief of Cardiology and medical director of Hospital Clínic from 2006 to 2014. Also, he was president of the European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA) and vice president of the Spanish Society of Cardiology.
His contribution to the medical community is extensive, including more than 400 publications on cardiac arrhythmias and 300 international lectures.
